Heavy Jets are designed to offer the same simplicity and convenience of Light and Midsize Jets but on a much larger scale offering more amenities and space. With a cabin size of approximately 6ft in height, 6 to 8ft wide and 28 to 50ft in length, these aircraft can accommodate between 9 to 15 passengers and cruise over 500-560mph non-stop for over 6,437km. Passengers can enjoy a full range of amenities from a full galley offering both hot and cold food, a private lavatory, office facilities, in-flight entertainment and generous sized baggage compartments. Flight attendants are available to enhance the passenger experience and maintain safety. Heavy Jets are able to operate in airports and airfields that are not accessible to larger commercial aircraft.

There are many types of Heavy Corporate Jets available including The Gulfstream G550 manufactured by Gulfstream. The G550 is powered by enhanced Rolls-Royce BR710 engines each producing 15,385lb of thrust and can attain a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.87 and a non-stop range of 12,501 km (6,750nm), long range cruise is Mach 0.85 (850km/h). The G550 can climb to its initial cruise altitude of 41,000ft and is certified for a maximum cruise altitude of 51,000ft. The G550 cabin can accommodate a maximum of 19 passengers.

Another Heavy Corporate Jet is the Ultra Long Range Bombardier Global Express manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace.  The Global Express features rear mounted powerplants consist of 2 Rolls-Royce Deutschland BR710-A2-20 Turbofan engines producing 14,750lb. This jet has a range of 11,130km and a maximum altitude of 51,000ft with a comfortable cruising speed of Mach 0.88 or 0.85 and is capable of flying intercontinental ranges without refuelling (e.g. London-Los Angeles) or between two points in the world with only one stop. The cabin can accommodate a maximum of 19 passengers.

An alternative Heavy Jet is the Dassault Falcon 7X manufactured by Dassault Aviation. This jet is powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines each producing 6,402lb of thrust and has a range of 11,019 km (5,950 nm). The 7X can fly a maximum speed of 953 km/h (593 mph) and is certified for a maximum altitude of 51,000ft. This aircraft can accommodate up to 19 passengers.
